Smoky Mountain National Park

My first shot of my trip to the Smoky's. Unfortunately for this shot I forgot my polarizer in the van and didn't feel like going back and getting it. I think it turned out pretty good anyways.

Small edits to brightness contrast with a tint added to the highlights of the photo.

thank you very much, if you like this one, I'm sure you'd also enjoy several other photos of mine :)

You're doing great  Nice color in this and details in the lowlights of the water. The highlights are a little blown, but that's ok. It still looks good. Did you try any slower shutter speeds on this shot? I have a tendency to have too long a shutter on moving water shots and I have to force myself to slow it down :D

Excellent work! :+fav:

No, unfortunately I didn't get a fast speed on this shot. I wish I would have though, but I got several other shots that are somewhat similar but from different locations that I used a faster shutter speed. thank you though :)

Nice shot. Boy I wished you went back and got that polarizer!! :) The highlights in the water a bit blown, but still not a bad shot.

I agree, the polerizer would have been very helpful, but I would have had to climb up the rock wall that was to my left here and then walk about 100 yards to my van, I would have, but I knew I would have more opportunities to get some similar shots so I decided just to shoot without it. thanks for the nice comment :)
