Hello Everyone,
It's been some time since I've posted a journal entry, but haven't really had anything noteworthy to post, until now. As the title suggests, I just received my very first Daily Deviation
Lost in Reflection made it to the DD list this morning, and needless to say, I was pleasantly surprised. Have a look for yourself, and feel free to comment on the photo if you have not already
Although, I might not be able to respond, this darned spam filters have just flagged me 
I guess that's what happens when you try to thank 300+ people for adding your photo to their favs 
Some other notes, just received a nice new Tenba backpack!! Also added a few remote flash triggers, new tripod head (pan,tilt), and a reflector. Hoping to start getting into portraiture soon. And one last note, I will be purchasing the Canon 7D next week if everything works out properly. Can't wait for that

Lost in Time

Well it has been months since I've been on dA. Only recently have I started revisiting. Got REALLY busy over the summer and hadn't had time to go out and shoot really. Still don't have much time, but I'm forcing myself to make time : ) Hopefully I will be able to continueally upload photos in the coming months, I do have a good few waiting in queue for processing at the moment and will be uploading those in the days to come!
Just recently upgraded my kit with a 100mm f/2.8 macro and a 28mm f/2.8. I also got a 50mm f/1.8 since it was so cheap. I've now got a pretty solid kit that I can be quite proud of

Canon 50mm f/1.8

Whoa, it's been a while....

A bit exhausting, but still love it. Photography has been put on a bit of a hold, as I don't quite have the time around to shoot 
But I'm thinking I'll begin shooting once again soon, just to help cope with the stresses of life
