How do you even imagine that would work? And now, of course, people start crying that their computers got infected with malware. Which is great - every genius who fell for this obvious phishing scam deserved it. I hope your shitty computer burns and you along with it.

Opinions are a Dangerous thing: Art StylesThis isn't about narking on anyone no, infact this is just my own muses really! You could say this is a journal for ENCOURAGEMENT! *SHINES*
I find sticking to one style restrictive if you are a beginning/moderate artist! (even professionals I might say! though I can't speak for everyone)
Having a distinctive look on how your art is done and produced is understandable and its a desire to appear unique to the point some one can just SEE your work and instantly think 'Oh! that's Ten-days!' or something along the line. However, when you are trying to find who you are and what kind of art you are to produce, I recommend trying, well, a lot of different things! Different styles, mixing styles, different colouring techinque, brushes, tools, shading. Don't feel dependant on what you are already doing and don't feel pressured by people just for trying new things!
Push out of your comfort zone. Can't draw hands? don't avoid it! draw the heck out of them! (how else are you going to learn?)

Eurovision nightGot myself some ice cream and will be making myself compfy on the sofa so I'm ready for the big, glittery, horrible music, camp, pointless politics, drama that is eurovision. It never disappoints me.

Nintendo STEALS Money!Since this has been going around lately, I should probably give my two cents. Basically what it amounts to is that Nintendo has filed Content ID info of their games with YouTube. What this means is that if you upload gameplay video of a Nintendo game, YouTube will automatically monetize that video, put ads on it, a link to where to buy the game, and take the money generated from that video and give it directly to Nintendo. People who do "let's play" videos are, naturally, pissed off because they want to be earning money off their videos, so they're calling Nintendo "thieves" for doing this.
I can see both sides to the story. I can see Nintendo as a corporation wanting to exercise control over their properties. On the other hand, "let's play" videos can often help new gamers find games they otherwise wouldn't have tried.
But here's the thing: Nintendo isn't the first company do this. Both Microsoft and Ubisoft do it already. YouTube has also had a long history of having music videos and

Yep it's almost time for another milestone. And this time around I haven't uploaded a whole lot of new ones, this means my old photos are still receiving a good amount of attention

I've got one deviation about to reach 300 views, it will be the first to reach that high. I have several on the verge of 200 views and many that have already reached 100 views. It's amazing to think that just a few months ago I was getting excited about a few deviations reaching 50/80 views. I wonder how many views I can look forward to in the months to come. Very exciting

I've been pretty busy lately as it seems many of us here on dA are. I'm trying to balance school, work, friends, photography, and dA all on the same schedule and it's rather hard. I've begun taking photos for the school

I got myself into Photojournalism instead of study hall, and since I do all my work at home anyways, I basically still have a study hall, but I get credit for it

When I get time I'll be uploading several basketball shots. I've been getting some good ones. My photojournalism teach is just SOO impressed, and he says words going around the school and lots of people are getting excited about seeing my photos

I think at the next game I'm going to talk to the newspaper photographer and ask him about his job and what he does. That way I know what I can look forward to in the future if I ever do freelance for the paper.

So I hope you are all enjoying the new year, the economy seems to be taking a very long dump, must have eaten White Castle

make sure you have a lens with a wide aperture for it, and you'll have to shoot between 400/1600 ISO so some shots will turn out noisy, but you can fix that up with this program called NoiseNinja, it's about 35 bucks I believe.
