Hey all.
So far so good with the wisdom teeth. It's only been that one day that I felt any pain, which was pretty minor. Let's hope it stays that way
Good news
Today I received both my slightly used, but new Circular Polarizer and my spare battery. I thought I'd give buying a used Polarizer a try, and I couldn't be happier with my decision. I bought it from B/H Photo for almost 20 bucks cheaper than the band new one, and from the looks, this one is also brand new
I'd say I got a great deal. I also ordered a spare battery from
Sterling Tek. I'd suggest you go and look at some of their spare batteries. I bought this one for 10 bucks, and I think if you buy the Canon battery, it's something like 50 bucks. Another good deal I think. Not to mention 2nd Day FedEX shipping was only $8.
Even though today would have been the perfect day to go out and test the polarizer, I unfortunately couldn't. The sky was most amazing during my soccer practice, and then after it just turned to overcast. I guess I'll just have to wait for another day.
I keep getting more and more anxious for my trip to the Smokey's. October 9
th will be the deciding date on whether I go or not. If we beat Lake Central in soccer that day, then we pretty much have sectionals in our hands, which means I won't be going to the Smokey's. If we win sectionals, then the following week, Smokey week, would be regionals, and I'm not going to miss that. To give you some perspective on our game, my school has about 130 give or take in each class. Lake Central has about 800-900 kids in each class. So if we beat them, it'd be a HUGE deal. So it's tough for me to decide if I would rather win sectionals or if I'd want to go to the Smokey's. I'm pretty much torn between both of my biggest passions at the moment. I will ultimately go to regionals if we do in fact win sectionals, since I'll have a whole team that would be depending on me going, but I believe my heart will be longing to go to the Mountains. Mountains are just amazing to me. I've only seen them once when I went on a brief weekend visit to Colorado, but ever since I've been in love.
